About Jackson Commons
Jackson Ward, one of Richmond’s most historic neighborhoods, has seen a steady decline over several decades caused in part by the loss of population and the demolition of a large number of structures. Miller & Associates, in partnership with Richmond Redevelopment & Housing Authority and Walker Row Partnership, aims to reverse that decline with the Jackson Commons project. Plans for this urban in-fill project call for 62 single-family townhouses and more than 20 multi-family dwelling units to be constructed in a manner that is sensitive to the surrounding neighborhood characteristics.
